About Conlyn Marine Services
Conlyn Marine Services was founded by Captain Bill Conlyn in 1982. While his able crew did mechanical and electrical repairs, Captain Bill also operated Herring Bay Towing rescuing distressed boats on the Bay. Captain Bill still operates Herring Bay Towing but in 2005 sold Conlyn Marine Services to Jeffrey D. Dunaway. Paul Pierce manages for him..
Our Team
The crew at Conlyn is the same as it was when Bill Conlyn owned the business. The knowledge of boat repair is quite profound at Conlyn Marine. A group of "crusty old" repairmen who are too dedicated to the industry to change life styles or employment. Many of our staff have endured the transition from wooden to composite boating.
Buddy Holland, now 72 has retired twice, but just can't stay away. His love for boating compels him to continue to work year round.
